In 2002, Accession Capital Partners commenced advising Accession Mezzanine Capital L.P. (“AMC I”), the pioneer mezzanine finance fund dedicated to Central Europe. We have diligently advised on transactions focused on the prospective first wave entrants to the European Union including Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia. Also in 2004, the fund expanded its regional activities to Bulgaria and Romania. With a total volume of EUR 115 million, AMC I has invested in 12 companies across the region, all of which feature equity upside.
